🧑Inviting Team Members

In Matau, a “license” refers to a seat or access for a team member to use Matau. This guide will explain how licenses work and provide step-by-step instructions for inviting team members to Matau.

Understanding Licenses

A license in Matau allows a team member to access and use the platform. When a company purchases a plan, it comes with a certain number of licenses:

  • Team Plan: Includes 5 licenses, allowing 5 team members to work with Matau.

  • Growth Plan: Includes 10 licenses, allowing 10 team members to work with Matau.

If you need to add more seats/licenses, you can do so (not available for the Individual Plan). Each additional license comes with a specific number of question tokens:

  • Team Plan: 400 questions per month per license.

  • Growth Plan: 1200 questions per month per license.

Inviting a Team Member

If your company has available licenses, follow these steps to invite a team member:

Access the Team Settings

  1. Click on the settings icon in your Matau dashboard.

  2. Select “Team” from the menu.

  3. Click on “Invite a team member.”

Alternatively, you can:

  1. Go to the plan or pricing page in your Matau dashboard.

  2. Click on “Manage licenses.”

  3. Click on “Invite a team member.”

Fill Out the Invitation Form

  1. Enter the first name, last name, email, and role of the new team member.

  2. Roles can be either “Admin” or “User.”

  3. Click “Send Invitation” to send the invitation email.

Accepting the Invitation

Once the invitation is sent, the new team member will receive an email with a link to join Matau:

  1. Click the Invitation Link: The team member clicks on the link provided in the email. This will navigate them to the Matau sign-up page.

  2. Sign Up: The team member can sign up manually by filling in the form with their first name, last name, and business email and creating a password, then clicking on “Create an Account” to proceed, or sign up using their Google account by clicking “Continue with Google.”

  3. Accept the Invitation: After signing up, the team member will complete one step to accept the invitation. Once accepted, their account will be linked to your company’s Matau account, and they can start using Matau immediately.
